The original business plan
Trump's original business plan for his second term was to end the wars, switch the economy from financials to physicals, and consolidate society after removing immigrants.
Foreign conflicts - end forever wars, be the president of peace, cut military spending.
Reindustrialise - reshore manufacturing with tax incentives, sanctions and deregulation.
Fiscal and social consolidation
Fiscal - The Three Rs to get GDP growing faster than debt : keep deficits below 3% of GDP, achieve real GDP growth of 3%, and add ~3 mbd of domestic oil production.
Social - consolidate around a core population after halting immigration and pushing out illegals.
What happened
This was a fundamentally sound business plan but it lacked effective risk management.
Trump considered the Establishment had betrayed him in his first term and so rather than replacing all the names in the purple book, he recruited his own set of outsiders.
Why didn't he break the deep state and the neocons, as he repeatedly said he would?
How did we get from the clean running start at the beginning, to the burn up we're now in?
The original business plan was deep and structural, but Trump was deceived - although the resistance t feeding hio change from deep state and neocons was recognised, the risk to the plan was not managed.
Although we had a deeply structured plan from the business side, from Trump the showman ringmaster we got only rhetoric, emotion, charm and politicking, but no structured strategy, no plan for dealing with the opposition from the deep state and neocons, even though he had clearly recognised and expected the threat from the get-go.
How it was done
It all fell apart because essentially his son-in-law Kushner and his best friend Witkoff turned out to be a trojan horse for the lobby and the same gang that had betrayed him last time.
The explanation lies in the isolation imposed on him by a cabal of followers - they got his confidence, they got their guys as a fifth column into Trump's own family and friends and cabinet, they isolated him, and then they anesthetised their victim with money and Epstein and are playing him and turning the American military into a mercenary force for another country. Maybe this is tough to comprehend and accept, but consider the power of the lobby.
